About Fabric3

Fabric3 is an open source SCA runtime sponsored by Metaform Systems.

The goal of Fabric3 is to make developing and administering composite applications easier. The core Fabric3 design tenets are:

      1. Runtime extensibility is central since application requirements vary.

      2. Achieving feature depth is more important than breadth.

      3. Completeness is not simply how many features software has; it is how well it works.

      4. Third-party dependencies should be minimized since they contribute to complexity.

      5. Simplicity is a sign of mature design.
